At the EMHC, we aim to provide community-focused health programming that provides you with the opportunity to experience positive health and well-being as it relates to all areas of health. Some of the programming is ongoing (described below), some is still in development (check back soon!) and some is on an event-by-event basis (check out the event calendar below)!
The EMHC, in partnership with Blitz Conditioning, offers an LGBTQ fitness program 3x per week, free of charge. The program is focused on providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ people to engage in physical fitness, while also receiving instruction from a fitness instructor specifically experienced in the training of trans and non-binary individuals. The program occurs each Monday at 8pm, Thursday at 7:30pm, and Saturday at 4:00pm at Blitz Conditioning. For more information on the program visit here. Or check the calendar below to see if there is a session cancellation on a day you plan on coming.
Totally Outright is a health education program for GBTQ men and masculine-identifying community members between 18-30 years old who are interested in learning more about their health, building leadership capacity, and making connections with other guys from the community. The program starts with a weekend or two of health programming and is followed by other health education sessions throughout the year in addition to a community health project that members plan together! After they complete a year of the program, program graduates get to help plan and facilitate the next year’s program!
